UAV Drone Roof Inspection - Survey Newport Wales

How to carry out a roof survey to a grade 2 listed building quickly and sensitively ?

We were recently commissioned to carry out a roof and chimney stack survey / inspection of a grade 2 listed building in Newport South Wales.

Our client recognised our equipment and skills were best placed to carry this survey at short notice. The advantages of our inspections at height are that they are quick, minimal cost, low risk and have no disturbance to sensitive and damaged areas of the roof.

Post inspection we provided detailed high resolution images of the areas of concern. We were able to identify unknown weathering and damage to sections of the roof.

The images were then transferred straight to our client with our unique referencing system, combined with a written report for the clients surveyors information .

This has now enabled our client to save costs on the erection of scaffolding in unnecessary areas and to focus the repairs to the areas most needed.

Unmanned aerial vehicle , drone roof inspections will undoubtably become the industry standard for inspections at height in the next two years. Global Drone Surveys are skilled equipped, licensed, and experienced to meet this demand now and in the future. This is why we are the natural choice for drone surveys and inspections in the U.K
