GDS have been making the most of a very tight weather window as storm Abigail pushes through this week. We’ve be able to precisely plan our flight routes around the complex site to ensure the highest standards of safety and compliance are met for the next two years of aerial survey work, we have been commissioned to do on the £27.3m Cardiff bay link project.
Our task is to provide our clients with month on month aerial and ground progress reports as the road build develops over the next two years. As you can see from the aerial pictures the ground works are just under way on this amazing build. We are working to precise specifications from our client and have been able to fully involve them in the initial flights by allowing them to direct the live video feed from the drone.
